Anna Jeseritz, LCSW, LIMHP, LISW, PMH-C
Therapist & Owner
Hi, I’m Anna! I started Haven Counseling to create a comfortable and safe space for women to process and be heard with both the flexibility and focus to meet your unique individual needs.
My passion is getting to know who you are, understanding your feelings and situation, and walking with you to help cope with the challenges life is throwing your way. I strive to be real and compassionate with every individual with whom I work.
I am a completely imperfect and flawed wife and mother of 2 outside of the therapy office. I love running, yoga, reading, hiking, spending time outside, drinking coffee, and tackling DIY projects.
Professional Experience
I have a Masters Degree in Social Work with a Clinical Concentration from University of Nebraska at Omaha. I have over 12 years experience working with adults going through a variety of life transitions and have received years of supervision and mentoring under a Licensed Psychologist. I am EMDR trained as well as certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International. I am licensed as a Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner in the state of Nebraska and a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the State of Iowa.
Ellie is a mini bernedoodle raised and trained to work as a therapy dog. She absolutely LOVES people, walks, naps, and chewing on a good bone. Aside from being cute, soft, and friendly, her presence provides an added calmness that can reduce anxiety and stress.

Therapy Modalities
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
CBT focuses on increasing mindfulness and awareness of our thoughts, emotions and behaviors and how they are all interconnected. In CBT we then work on the skills to change target those thoughts and behaviors to improve our mood.
Solution Focused Therapy
Solution Focused Therapy is a collaborative, often brief therapy process focusing on developing solutions to specific problems through questions and exploration that develops increased insight.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing targets traumatic events that have impacted beliefs and emotions or caused distress in our lives. EMDR utilizes bilateral stimulation while revisiting these events to decrease distress and create new adaptive beliefs and connections within our brains.
Supportive Therapy
Supportive therapy, or talk therapy aims to listen, empathize and validate while providing space to process through challenges and emotions.
